Say it ain't so Roo
Sir Alex confirmed that Wayne Rooney wants to leave Manchester United after his contract is up. It hurts. He hasn't been in top form by any means, but I want him to stay. Hopefully Sir Alex can start treating him a bit better and the tabloid pressure will ease up. Other coaches around the world have weighed in and think he'll remain at Old Trafford, but they might just be plotting to get their dirty mitts on him without distracting their current rosters. So go ahead Fronte and leave a comment about how Sir Alex is a nutter. You might be right.

Just relax, after all this brouhaha Rooney is staying. This proves once and for all that Sir Alex is a con artist and Rooney is so gullible. Rumors are that he promised Rooney some new prostitutes.
The Sir Alex and Rooney storyline is following the same script as the Don King and Mike Tyson story.
I think it was just a move by Rooney to get his contractsigned now instead of later. He'll look at his form. If he stays this way all year, he might not get much of anything.
