Happy Groundhog Day!
Unhappy day for White Stripes fans. On the Third Man website, Jack and Meg posted that they are officially over and that no new recordings or live performances will happen. If it were any other band I'd say they were making it up and might come back in a year, but not these guys.

In spite of the rift that developed between Jack, Meg and myself as a result of my intense annoyance with the amount of email I received from their e-newsletter, I am saddened.
