Bachmann on Fallon

The legendary Roots crew played Fishbone's "Lyin' Ass Bitch" last night when Michelle Bachman was introduced. The play something relevant to each guest when they walk out so I guess they got it perfect. I dvr the show everynight, but for some reason, five or so shows were cancelled on the dvr. You can find the clip on hulu though. It's pretty funny.

iTunes is still a ripoff

Man alive, iTunes is a ripoff. I had poked around amazon's mp3 store for a bit this morning and thought I'd compare some of the prices. The new REM greatest hits on amazon is $12.99 and on iTunes, $24.99! WTF? Most of the other stuff is at least $2 cheaper on amazon too. I thought that maybe iTunes would have caught on by now, but maybe they just know that people are too dumb to realize that the amazon store imports the songs directly into you iTunes folder.

God told Cain to run

Herman Cain is now joining the rest of the whacko Republican candidates and saying that God told him to run for President. He says he is like Moses. Wasn't Isaac Hayes "Black Moses?" Anyway, on top of all that, he and Bachmann are saying that waterboarding is ok. Yep, good ol' Christian torture. What is wrong with these people?

Romney has a lock on the nomination for the simple fact that he hasn't said anything too insane yet. How about the Mormon awareness adds though? Weird, weird, weird.

If Obama loses next November, it might be the all time biggest choke in all of politics.

Sick day

This morning I came downstairs to find Lindy making breakfast for Connor who had a look of embarrassment on his face as he had just had a wet fart and had to change his underwear. Thinking that my repeated warnings of, "If you keep forcing them out, you're going to poop your pants." had finally come true, I picked up my stuff and headed to work.

As I was pulling into work, my cell phone rang and I was informed that it was not an isolated incident and further runnings to the bathroom had occured. So, I worked quickly for about an hour and a half, then came home so Lindy could go to work and interview people.

The stomach issues weren't incredibly severe, but they were frequent up until around one. I had given him some kid's immodium so I'm hoping that my awesome parenting had a hand in it. We played some games, cars, and sword fighting, but all in all it was just another example of how much quicker kids get over illnesses than adults.
